On May 18th, a good samaritan brought us with a kitten he found at Shell Point injured. When Yondu first joined CARE, his right wrist was swollen and it was painful for him to use that leg. Thankfully, he has responded well to treatment. He does have a heart murmur, which has gradually gotten harder to hear, but still present. We sometimes hear heart murmurs in kittens transiently – sometimes they resolve as the kittens grow. Yondu has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is ready for a home.
