On November 3rd a puppy named Pappi was brought to Northwood on emergency. He is a black Blue Heeler mix approximately 1 year old. His owners accidentally ran over him, resulting in a serious fracture of his left femur and bruised lungs. Pappi was signed over to Northwood for further care. He was treated for shock and pain. Once he was stable he had surgery to repair his fractured leg. It took some time for Pappi to learn to use that leg again. He is up to date on vaccines and has been neutered and microchipped. Pappi is a sweet boy that will need some further training to be more “polite” with other dogs. He is quite the barker!
