On Jan 22, 2016 a puppy was found in the road, hit by a car near the Woodville Fire Department. He had every intestinal parasite we see in this area (hooks, rounds, whips, coccidia, tapes). X-rays showed that he had a fracture of his left femur. Surgery was performed to re-break the leg as it was healing crooked. Then. 2 IM (intramedullary pins) were placed to realign the bones so they would heal better. His fractures healed well and he is just like a normal puppy now. He has completed his vaccine series and is free of intestinal parasites. Miguel has shown some concerning behavior when meeting new people so he is currently in a foster home where he can get better training. He would be a great fit for an experienced dog owner.
