A momma cat (grey tabby-Madonna) and litter of 7 kittens were left in a box at Southwood Animal Hospital on 10-1-13. A note was enclosed reading “I couldn’t take them to the shelter. Please help them.” Momma was healthy but several of her kittens had SERIOUS eye infections. Southwood kept 3 of the healthier kittens. Madonna and the kittens with more serious eye problems were transferred to Northwood for 24 hour care. The kittens have all found homes, so now it is Madonna’s turn. She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines.
