On May 21, 2021 a momma cat was found, actively in labor, at Bookout Cove and Hwy 20, near the Little Red House. She had already had 2 kittens when she arrived at Northwood Animal Hospital on emergency. Xrays showed there were 2 more to go. We named her Marge. She is a brown and white tabby, estimated to be about 1 ½ years old. Marge was set up in ICU for monitoring. She was able to deliver the rest of the litter just fine. Marge lived in hospital with her litter, nursing them until they were old enough to be on their own.
Marge and her kittens have all been spayed/neutered, microchipped and have completed their vaccines. Now they just need homes.
