On Sept. 22, 2016 a young black and white female kitten was found on Hulton road near FAMU’s campus. She had a large superficial wound on her belly. The wound was treated aggressively with both oral and topical meds, laser therapy, and bandaging. Kaia was the perfect patient throughout her treatment – just purring and making biscuits during her laser therapy! Her wound is now fully healed, though she may always have a big scar running just behind her rib cage on her belly. Kaia has been spayed, microchipped and is proceeding through her kitten vaccines. She is all ready for a loving furr-ever home!
