Fiona is a sweet puppy who has already seen too much pain in her short life. On April 17, 2016 a 12 week old female G. Shep mix named Fiona was brought to NAH on emergency. She was witnessed being shot at with a BB gun, then purposefully ran over by some boys in a vehicle. Fiona sustained a severe partial degloving injury (much of the skin and tissue from the top of her right front foot was gone). She also had fractures of her left rear leg (tibia and fibula) as well as pelvic fractures. Her broken back leg was splinted. The extensive wounds on her front leg are were managed with frequent bandage changes, antibiotics, and pain medications. She has been spayed and started on her puppy vaccines. Although Fiona has been through a lot, her sweet, happy-go-lucky spirit never fails! This little girl loves belly rubs and is always ready to give you a kiss! Help us give Fiona the loving, fun life she deserves!
