On April 22, 2017, Daisy was found wandering on Bannerman Rd. and Meridian. She was suffering from a severe flea infestation with resulting dermatitis, with open wound on her face and severe hair loss and scabbing along her ventral neck. She was also infested with the intestinal parasite Hook worms. Daisy has responded well to treatment for her skin and is now happy and healthy! Daisy was adopted October 6th and was so happy to get to go to her new home. Unfortunately, the other dog in the home did not take kindly to Daisy playing with her toys, resulting in some dog fights.  Through no fault of her own, Daisy was returned to CARE on Dec. 3. She was glad to see us again, but we want to find a new home for her to flourish in.
