Miss Callie has had some bad luck in her little life. She was hit by a car in early 2017, sustaining a fracture to her pelvis and left hip socket. Then, in April, she found herself *very* pregnant and unable to give birth naturally because her pelvic bone had healed in such a way that narrowed the birth canal. Thankfully, she was accepted into the CARE program at Northwood Animal Hospital where she received an emergency c-section. Unfortunately, Callie developed a severe case of ulcerative mastitis in early May that required aggressive antibiotic treatment. Callie has always been an incredibly sweet and affectionate cat – even through the most uncomfortable parts of surgery recovery. She is very intuitive and seems to know that we are on her team, trying to help. Callie has responded beautifully to therapy and is now 100% healthy! She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go home with you!
