On July 4, 2022 a badly injured kitten was brought to Northwood Animal Hospital on emergency.  His head had been slammed in a door accidentally by the person who found him.  He was a stray kitten she found in Altha FL (Calhoun Co).  When he arrived he was bleeding from the mouth, was laterally recumbent, unable to stand.  He has suffered with severe head trauma.  He was relinquished to the hospital for care.  We named him Brandon.  He is a male  DSH brown and white tabby, est DOB 4-4-22.  Brandon gradually improved after a week of aggressive medical therapy for his brain injury.  He was eventually able to stand and walk.  He is still a little ataxic/wobbly at times but he gets along pretty well.  He is FeLV/FIV negative, was treated for hookworm infections, has been vaccinated and neutered.  He may always have some degree of staggering walk.  He is ready for his forever home.
