On November 17th, 2022 a gray DSH female cat was brought to Northwood on emergency. She was a neighborhood stray (Hawthorne street area) that had been hit by a car. She had sustained serious facial trauma-with fracture of upper jaw, luxation of front part of lower jaw (mandibular symphysis), and left eye partially proptosed (popped out of eye socket). She was relinquished to the hospital for care. She had to have 2 surgeries-first to place a feeding tube and repair the lower jaw injury. Then a few days later she had surgery to remove the left eye since it was not responding to medical treatment-she was spayed at the same time. We named her Bonnie. She is estimated to be about 2 years old (DOB 11-18-2020). She is such a sweetheart. She is ready for her forever home.
