Mitzy entered the CARE program on September 4th, at just four weeks old. When she was found in the middle of the road by a good samaritan, her eyes were crusted shut and she was underweight and dehydrated. Four days after arriving, Mitzy’s left eye ruptured as the infection was just too severe. She was taken to emergency surgery and the left eye was enucleated by Dr. Cavell. Mitzy recovered well from surgery and is now happy and healthy!
