Tita is a sweet kitten who was found as a stray near the FSU stadium. She entered the CARE program at Northwood Animal Hospital with one of the worst eyeball ruptures that any of our doctors had ever seen! Her bad eye was enucleated on August 4th. Her ‘good’ eye was none too healthy either, but with aggressive medical therapy we were able to save the right eye & her vision. Tita was adopted shortly after she healed from her enucleation surgery. However, she was returned after she urinated outside the litter box (her previous owners had an at home business that likely was stressful to Tita). Since her return, she has been checked for a urinary tract infection (which she does not have) and has been urinating appropriately in the litterbox.
