On March 19th a local realtor went into a home that he was about to list. The back door had been kicked open and he was greeted by four pit bulls. As he was retreating from the home, this tiny puppy (we have been calling Juice Box) came running up to him in the yard. These dogs did not belong to the owner of the home so it is a mystery how they came to be squatting there. The realtor brought Juice Box in as her skin looked pretty rough. Juice Box seems to be a grey and tan Min Pin/Chihuahua mix. We are guessing her birthdate to be around January 6, 2018. Her skin was a mess, she had a heavy flea infestation, and also intestinal parasites. She has been treated for her skin issues and intestinal parasites and is progressing through her puppy vaccines. While her skin has healed it remains very thin on the grey colored areas which is likely due to a congenital hair defect called color dilute alopecia. This doesn’t bother Juice Box at all, she is a very sweet happy girl and will just need to wear sweaters in the colder months 🙂 Her adoption fee will be 300$.
