Meet Nole! This sweet black lab puppy found CARE over Labor Day weekend (when Hurricane Hermaine was in full effect). He was very sick with parvovirus & intestinal parasites- causing vomiting and diarrhea. He received intense medical treatment and, when he was deemed healthy enough, was fostered by a hospital staff member. Nole has a scar on his side that he had when he joined CARE – we’re not sure what caused it, but it’s not troubling him at all. He has been having a lot of fun in his foster home – playing with two adult dogs, snuggling on the couch, playing fetch, and learning to sit for his food. He is doing well with his house-training, though still has the occasional accident (as all puppies do). Nole is truly a special puppy who was dealt a rough hand of cards. We’re happy to have been able to help turn his journey around, now he needs a loving forever family who will continue his training and love him until the end of time. If you have room in your heart, and room in your home, please call Northwood Animal Hospital at (850)385-8181 to set up a time to meet Nole today!
