Meet Monty! Can you tell that he only has three legs? Neither can he! Monty is a sweet, playful kitten who found CARE after playing with a dog much larger than him. The dog accidentally pounced on Monty in just the wrong way and fractured his back left femur (the large bone in his thigh). It was such a severe fracture that amputation was required. Monty is doing great after surgery and can do everything a cat with 4 full legs can do – run, play, ‘make biscuits’, and snuggle. He is a special cat, but shouldn’t require special care going forward because of the amputation.
