On March 28, 2016 a very young puppy (est. to be about 4 weeks old) was brought to Northwood Animal Hopsital. He had been abandoned on a Good Samaritan’s porch on Orange Ave near Nims Middle School. He is sable in color with an adorable widow’s peak. The puppy we named Pumbaa was treated for an eye infection and intestinal parasites. He has transitioned to regular puppy food, has started his puppy vaccines and has been neutered. We still cannot tell what breed of dogs Pumbaa is comprised of. We have sent blood in for a Wisdom DNA panel. Let’s see what breed mix he comes back. In the meantime, he is ready for his forever home!
