Meet Maisey! This sweet girl joined the CARE program at Northwood Animal Hospital on November 23, 2015, as the Northwood staff were enjoying their Thanksgiving potluck. She was having trouble giving birth (dystocia) and needed emergency surgery to save as many of the kitten as possible (and mama herself). A c-section was performed and all of the kittens except for one survived (one had already passed away prior to arriving at Northood as it was stuck in the birth canal). Maisey has been a very good mama to all of her kittens and has even been a surrogate to two other stray kittens while at Northwood.
