Woodstock was one of two dogs transferred to the CARE program from an area shelter on January 17th.  He is a super sweet, approximately 3 year old gray pitbull mix.  Upon arrival, Woodstock was diagnosed with entropion, an eye infection, intestinal parasites, heartworm disease, and a skin infection.  He has had surgery to correct the entropion and has been successfully treated for the skin infection, eye infection, and intestinal parasites.  He is currently in the final stages of treatment for heartworm disease and will need a forever family that is committed to continuing this care at home, which involves returning for several vet visits (covered by CARE) and exercise restriction until July 1, 2015.
