Belle found the CARE program when she was brought to Northwood Animal Hospital on emergency in dystocia (unable to have her puppies naturally). She had birthed 3 puppies the day before, however all her puppies had died. X-rays showed another puppy stuck in her birth canal. Belle had emergency surgery to remove the puppy (who was unfortunately already deceased), and was spayed at the same time. Once she recovered from her surgery for several days, she was anesthetized again to clean her teeth and extract multiple retained baby teeth. Belle has now recovered from both procedures and is available for adoption with a minimum adoption fee of $200 to help defray her extensive surgical costs.
