Lucky, a 3 year old male Mini Schnauzer, found CARE in December after his owner passed away. When he arrived, he was diagnosed with heartworms, intestinal parasites, fleas, and a skin infection. He has been treated for all of these but is still in the final stage of heartworm treatment (exercise restriction for 6 weeks). Lucky is looking for a loving forever family that is willing to continue this care at home. As long as Lucky does well, after his recheck in 6 weeks he will be free to live a normal, healthy life!
